The more we talk about mental health, the more we normalize talking about mental health, the more likely people are to reach out and seek help. Leave a note to let someone out there know it is okay not to be okay, and it is okay to reach out for support.
#LeaveANote is an opportunity to give back to your community by sending love, kindness and support. Give a stranger support and compliment them with kinds words.
Hey Warrior, Keep Going
Are you feeling deeply? Processing fully? Are you talking about your feelings? Or are you telling yourself they don't matter and bottling it all up? What are you bottling up or suppressing right now?
When a woman or girl survives gender based-violence, one will expect an outpour of support. This was not the case in 2018 when survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) took to the stands at the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission and told their story. They were met with attacks and blamed for an ordeal they wanted no part in.
This is not the first time women have been shamed and blamed for rape or any sort of sexual violence they have encountered.
We launched the #ItEndsNow campaign to target erroneous beliefs around SGBV and address the psychosocial issues and consequences of victim blaming and shaming, and the subsequent stigmatization of victims.

We hope that these discussions will facilitate a better understanding of mental health conditions, increases coping skills and empowers young people to become advocates for mental health.
